Acquisition of Westland Fencing
Westland Scherming was founded in 2014 by Wim van Dorp. With over 45 years of experience in the “Screen world” not a new player. In 2022 Wim retired well-deservedly and Harm van Holsteijn took over the company. The acquisition of Westland Scherming was a planned step for Harm. For over 10 years, Harm helped assemble many projects Westland Scherming has completed. Harm can look back on 25 years of experience in the industry.

No screen installation is the same
Personally, I like the projects that are not “straightforward” the most. This involves your experience, passion for the work and technical insight. Once the installation is up and running for the first time, that is so satisfying!
So too with renovations. A renovation should be an “upgrade” of the existing installation to make it up to date. The installation must be assessed in its current state. Often there are certain areas of concern that the customer does not see or know about. The end result must be an improvement so the customer can get years ahead with their screen installation. Simply changing the screen cloth of an installation that is 10 years or older is often too short-sighted and can cause problems in the near future.
